it was a good night. i got some much needed laundry done, chase slept in his own bed until 4am (which hey, seriously, at this point 4am!!!), and we have plans to take in red, white & boom this evening (or as chase refers to it - “sky go boom”). so, needless to say, i woke up this morning in a great mood.
we had breakfast and i took dexter out for his daily doings to find this…
seriously? seriously. seriously!
i was half a day late for work b/c i had to wait 2 hours for someone to come and put the spare on (i suppose having a man around the house would be nice), only to learn that i had nails in another tire and needed to essentially just plop down hundreds of dollars for new tires that i’m sure i need but didn’t want to pay for - ever. grrr.
and so i did. plop, i mean.
today, not even lake champlain truffles will make me smile (though i’m sure they will tomorrow) (ok, so i grinned, whatever) (thanks, leann!!).
